Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex... It takes a touch of genius and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction.

Casino Ranch (bring the family)  6PM - 10PM

Test your card skills at our western style Casino Ranch Party located a short bus ride away at the rustic Keystone Ranch (buses will leave from Keystone Lodge beginning at 5:30pm). We'll have a variety of casino table games, cow roping, putting, horseshoe throwing, kids game card tables and face painting/balloon artist for the kids. This evening we will also have a feature artist by the name of M. L. Friis joining us to create beautiful charcoal portraits of your children as a keepsake.

About the Artist: M. L. Friis graduated from Colorado State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Fine Art, concentration in drawing. In 1996 she placed into a highly competitive professional studies class under one of Denver's premier artists, Quang Ho. She studied along side professional artists and seasoned technicians, for one year in Denver while working towards her Bachelors, mirroring her work in Colorado State University galleries. In 2001 Margaret was chosen to serve on an international church planting team to The Netherlands. She immigrated for one year studying daily from original paintings by Van Gogh, Degas and Rembrandt while attending an art school in Rembrandt's home town, Utrecht. Recently, M. L. Friis has partnered with professional photographers in four shows in Downtown Fort Collins and worked with Fort Collins and Denver Galleries. http://www.etsy.com/people/mlfriis
