Special Events July 16th – July 20th

It's not only about work at the Cloud Identity Summit. Give your brain a break and get ready for some fun for you and your family. 

Work Session Dinner - Monday July 16th 6:00PM – 9:00PM 

For participants in Monday work sessions, there will be a reception and dinner hosted by Google in the Atwater Terrace and Dining area, located just off the lobby of the Vail Cascade Resort.  

Welcome Reception - Tuesday July 17th 6:00PM - 9:30PM (Spouses Welcome) 

We'll officially kick the Summit off at the Vail Cascade Rocky Mountain Foyer for our opening reception and dinner. The time is set aside for you to mix with friends while you enjoy fabulous food and sample some of Colorado's home-grown wines and micro-brews. The Cloud Identity Summit exhibits in this year’s Solution Center will be open for you to begin to learn about the variety of services and systems our sponsors have for you to explore. 

The Wild West Casino Ranch Dinner - Wednesday July 18th 4:30 - 9:30PM (Family Members Welcome) 

We will end early on Thursday to give everyone time to go to a local working ranch where there sill be an large variety of activities and a delicious dinner for the whole family with a campfire at sunset. Test your skills at quick-draw target shooting, a variety of casino table games, cow roping, mechanical bull riding, horseshoe throwing. There will be pony or wagon rides for the young, ones with special games, face painting and activities for them at the 4 Eagle Ranch. This will be a very memorable evening for everyone. Buses will leave at 4:30 and 5PM with Return beginning at 8PM 

Sunrise Boot Camp – Thursday July 19th 6:00AM  

Join Andre, Pam, Patrick, John and the Ping gang for an early morning boot camp. You don't need to register, just meet at the entrance of the Vail Cascade Resort at 6AM. DON'T BE LATE. We're bringing up long-time boot camp instructor Jon Reiling, a world-class fitness instructor. Get a good night’s sleep. Bring water.

Family BBQ at the Barn – Thursday July 19th 5:00PM – 9:30PM 

The final dinner will be a delicious country style cook out with. Bring your whole family to wind down for a family BBQ. Kids will be treated to loads of fun. With line dancing, a bouncy house, don’t forget to pack your boots as we’re going to have a DJ for a true country “ho-down”. After the BBQ we’ll start a bon fire and open a s'more station for the kids. Bring your appetite! 

The fun runs from 5:30pm to 9:00pm and buses leave from the Vail Cascade beginning at 5pm. This event is sponsored by Ping & the Cloud Identity Summit. 

Family Activities 

Family Activities In conjunction with the Cloud Identity Summit, a variety of daily family group activities are being arranged by Kim Durand. There will be activities to please all ages. Children need to be accompanied by an adult (parent or childcare provider). Child care is easy to arrange through the resort.
